How to become a Christian
The bible says that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) There is nothing that we can do on our own to restore our relationship with God. That is why He sent His son, Jesus, to die for us, taking upon Himself the punishment for our sins in order that we might walk freely. However, we all have a choice to make. We can choose to accept that we are sinners, which simply means that we have missed the mark, or we can go on living our own life, never experiencing the tender mercies and goodness of God’s heart towards us.
The Bible tells us we must then confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead and we will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Father, thank You for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross on my behalf. The Bible says that if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved. I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead and therefore I am saved. I ask Your forgiveness for all my sins, please cleanse me from all sin and give me a brand new start. Come into my heart and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I choose to live for You for the rest of my life.
